Sažetak
Web services delivered new ways of code reuse. They allow better adaptation of information systems to business processes. A new approach to development requires new development methodologies. Existing development methodologies are not completely suitable to Web service standards. They must be enriched with activities adapted to these new standards. This paper proposes main phases of the methodology aimed for the development of information systems based on Web services. There is an existing development methodology “Web Service Implementation Methodology”, proposal by Oasis, which gives main guidelines through each phase. That methodology served as a basis for the one proposed in the paper. The second part of the paper is focused on the analysis of existing development tools that are used in the coding phase.
