Sažetak
Digital technologies note exponential growth lately in all areas ; this is also the case in graphic industry. Digital printing is imposing as a substitute to offset printing in smaller number of copies, but also in the specialised added values which are unprofitable to offset like print on demand or personalization. Lately there are also distinct developments in parts of the printing industry and graphic products manufacturing that have traditionally belonged to flexo printing. Investments and development of digital printing machines brought to the market digital printing machines for printing small editions of labels and stickers in rolls. Beside to changes in printing area, digital technology has entered in the area of foil stamping and die cutting. On the market today you can find printers which produce foil stampings and laser printers which replace die cutting. This paper deals with the commercial application of new technologies for die cutted labels and sticker rolls, and also its advantages and shortcomings.
