Sažetak
The lecture explores the discrepancies between equality proclaimed by law and its implementation, focusing on the question of how emancipation is occurring on the macro and the micro level. After discussion of how the social context has created differences between proclaimed and actual emancipation in Croatia, the article presents the results of a study done by Target agency in October and November 2005 on the initiative of the Franciscan Institute for the Culture of Peace in which respondents were asked to express their opinions about emancipation and equality.
