Sažetak
Possible relationship between lipid mobilisation indicators and oxidative stress markers during transition period of dairy heifers was investigated in the present study. The aim of our work was to evaluate the dynamic of metabolic and oxidative stress parameters (NEFA, BHB, TAS and PON1) in dairy heifers during transition period. Comparison of mentioned parameters from one week before to 8 weeks after calving with the values at insemination will contribute to the establishment of physiological ranges for biomarkers of oxidative stress in ruminant medicine.
