Sažetak
In this paper I try to give an answer to the question whether biomedical enhancements of human physical, cognitive and psychological capacities could lead to the creation of beings with higher moral status than ours. In the first part of my presentation I defend a threshold account of moral status. In the second part I will show that once one has the capacity needed for ascription of moral status, having those characteristics to a higher degree is morally irrelevant.
