Sažetak
The survey covers extant law codes and statutes enacted in the area of present-day Croatia during the Middle Ages. The items are grouped geographically in five sections (Istria, Kvarner, Dalmatian coastal cities, Croatian hinterland, medieval Slavonia). Each item is discussed as follows. It starts with the date and circumstances of the enactment, continues with a description of its content, and thereafter provides information on the extant manuscripts and editions. To each item is added a selection of relevant literature (if such literature exists). Only literature giving a description of the statute or law is included, not materials discussing individual institutions or procedures adumbrated within the statute or law itself.
