Sažetak
Results of the joint research on 4-hydroxynonenal (HNE) carried by researchers from Austria and Croatia were presented. It was proposed to establish "HNE-club" as an international association of researchers dealing with the role of this "second messenger of free radicals" in oxidative stress and cell growth regulation. All participants who agreed to focus their further joint research on the physiological and pathological roles of the aldehyde accepted this proposal.
