Sažetak
Patient M.M., aged 61 years, suffering from insulin-nondependent diabetes mellitus for 20 years, developed gangrene of both feet. During preparations for lower limb angiography the patient developed sepsis, ketoacidosis, anuria, and acute renal failure. Stress ulcers appeared which bled profusely resulting in hemorrhagic shock. The second day upon development of renal failure the patient suffered cardiorespiratory arrest. He also developed neurological disorders, encephalopathy, confusion and disorientation.
