Sažetak
A review is presented of recent literature on clinical features of atopic dermatitis, its diagnostic criteria, epidemiology and genetic issues, predictors of development, and on markers, prognosis and therapy of the disease. The latest immunotherapeutic concepts, avoidance of relevant triggers, and modifications in the treatment of refractory atopic dermatitis appear quite promising in achieving satisfactory therapeutic results.
