Sažetak
A data base system is used to manage all kind of tool data. The system supports the preselection of tools depending on technological parameters, a very fast collision calculation and classification of collision stats as well as the length planning of tools. A tool set is generated and assessed by the aid of special strategies and rules. The construction of new special tools is supported by the planning system.
Tool planning system presented in this paper enables planning of tool sets and take into consideration process of planning for bending of work pieces. This can be implemented by automatic production. The concept presented in this paper may monitor process of searching for tools. It means, that based on the established collision areas of the concrete tool, similar shape of the element night be found, which diminish potential collision on certain points of the tool. Composition of set of tools enables optimization of the bending process.
