Sažetak
There is a large number of procedures for manufacture of working parts by process of deformation. Bending has an extremely broad and versatile application. Kind and size of work pieces on one side and requirements regarding accuracy and shape on the other side determine selection of many of these procedures and bending variants.
Elastic part of deformation causes deviations in shape and bend precision. The important criteria in evaluation of bent components is the bend angle allowance. Relative bend angle error can be taken as bench mark for measuring of bend precision. The effect of elastic spring-back on bend angle can be eliminated, if the elastic spring-back equals in one area to another force but in reverse direction.
This paper analysis the influence of the press and die brake on improvement of the bend precision. It takes into consideration the upper die running, specific max. forces, and die.
The interdependence of the bend angle error and the upper die running is given in diagram. When we have upper die running of 5 mm, we get the relative bend angle error of - 0,041. This matches to bend angle after withdrawal of load from die angle. If we increase further the die running we get the positive relative bend angle error.
