Sažetak
Inductances and capacitances in analysis of fast transients in high voltage transformers are usually calculated on the basis of simple analytical approximations for applications in lumped circuit models. This paper presents the application of the boundary element method to calculation of capacitances and inductances of transformer windings with coils of rectangular cross section. Two-dimensional axially symmetric mathematical model of electric and magnetic field in transformer, which is based on integral equations, is introduced. The accuracy and applicability of the proposed approach is illustrated by an example.
