Sažetak
An important and indispensable component of the curriculum consists of the artistic disciplines. They contribute not only to the cultural and artistic achievement of education tasks, but they also encourage the social- emotional development of children and youth, as well as the development of creativity. Given that creativity is a precondition for art creation and the creative act being its result, the development of children's creative expression is the most important task of arts education. In this way it is practically possible to express the children's creativity, initiative and independence with a new or different way of impact. We will observe this process of forming original ideas in the system of regular classes and extracurricular music activities. Education should enable students to acquire knowledge, develop dispositions and skills improvement, but in a new, completely open and flexible way. Extracurricular music activities enable exactly this! Thus, the activity of composing encourages creativity and influences the perception of students in relation to the legality of the musical pattern. We mean: awareness of rhythmic movement and a sense of melodic movement, for the musical phrase and the musical form and for a formation of musical works. Each student is progressing toward their musical abilities by creating a new musical patterns. Furthermore, the purpose of other extracurricular musical activities that we have described - a musical - is to encourage the creativity of students and enable them to participate in this complex type of music. Work on the musical makes the development of singing and acting skills of students possible, it encourages their creative identity and creative potential.
