Sažetak
The most skilled and most complete wall mosaics in terms of content both in pagan and Christian art were preserved at the Euphrasius' basilica in Poreč (Parentium). A fragment of a mosaic from Pula (Pola) with a motif of Traditio legis also exhibits high qualities. The wall mosaics in Istria are particularly interesting from both historical and artistic points of view. These wall mosaics show a very high artistic level similar to that found as comparison discovered in the other urban centres. Among the finds recorded from the excavations in Dalmatia as well in the hinterlands and urban centres were tesserae. The poster present a wall mosaics and tesserae.
