Sažetak
The basic aim of this investigation is to determine the canonical relations between the group of morphological proportions and the group of variables which evaluate success in RGS and dance with eleven-year-old female pupils. For this purpose the group of 19 morphological proportions and the group of 9 criterion (three rhythmic compositions, three specific technical elements in RSG, and three dances) were applied to sample of 100 female pupils. By canonical correlative analysis of these two groups of variables, a significant canonical correlation of 0.67 was obtained. It was concluded that morphological structure of transverzal dimensionality and volume of body, with modest amount of fat tissue, had negative effect on the performance of rhythmic composition with rope in which all the body was involved and aesthetic expression was decisive, but had positive effect on performing folk dances where leaps prevailed and aesthetic performance was not prominent. The results obtained contribute to better selection and training control of rhythmic players and also bring useful information on correlation of morphological characteristics to success in folk dance performing.
