Sažetak
Chronoamperometric and voltammetric measurements were used to investigate interactions of FeS nanoparticles (NPs) with the Hg electrode surface in the wide range of electrode potentials (0 to -1.9 V vs. Ag/AgCl). At the potentials more negative than -1.4 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) Faradic processes are influencing the chronoamperometric response. Two types of current transient signals (staircase and blip response) were observed as these potentials what is in an agreement with voltammetric investigation in the similar NPs suspensions. All results clearly show a great potential of chronoamperometry and voltammetry for characterization and determination of metal sulfide NPs in aqueous environments.
