Sažetak
In this paper, two numerical models for linear analysis of the curved beam structures with constant curvature in the plane under the dynamic loading are developed. The first numerical model is based on the finite element method that applies exact curved beam element, and the second model is based on the meshless method using Fup basis functions. As a result of the complete formulation of equilibrium conditions, negative influences of the shear and membrane locking effects are completely eliminated and simply monitoring of these effects on dynamic response of the structure is enabled. In order to show the accuracy, reliability and applicability of the developed numerical models, some numerical examples of curved beams subjected to dynamic loading were analyzed.
