Sažetak
Allocation criteria for a fair distribution of renal allografts, according to the match list (recipient-oriented), include medical urgency, recipient sensitization, HLA-A, -B and -DR matching between donor and recipient, AB0 blood group rules and waiting time for transplantation. The Eurotransplant Kidney Allocation System (ETKAS) allows ranking of potential recipients with the help of a point score system.
