Sažetak
Paper presents overview of often used materials in steam bolilers components production. Special emphasis is given on modern materials which offer better service performances of critical steamboilers components (e.g. higher service temperature, better corrosion resistance, higher creep resistance, ...). Beside mentioned advantages, application of contemporary materials in steamboilers production give economical effects, also. But, from the weldability point of view and service expirience, these materials are in progresive confirmation as a appropriate materials for very reliable and safe application in steamboilers production. Authors give some own contributions based on previous research and expirience from workshop.
