Sažetak
In this paper a detailed modeling strategy for a flexible rotor supported on active magnetic bearings (AMBs) is described. In order to resolve the overall system instability related to non- collocation issues when the rotor passes the first critical speed, the whole dynamic analysis is based on an appropriately chosen AMB-flexible rotor system configuration. Moreover, experimental frequency measurements are used to validate and improve the theoretical model. Open loop frequency responses confirm the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
