Sažetak
This research was conducted during 2010. year in controlled environmental conditions as two step production of wild roses rootstock. First step of production was carried out in laboratory in vitro and second step in glasshouse. At the first phase of investigation plants were cultivated on two different growth mediums. First media contained two hormones BAP (6-Benzylaminopurine) and IBA (Indole-3-butyric acid), and the second contained just hormone BAP. Plants that were grown on these growth mediums were transplanted in commercial substrate and treated with biostimulant Radifarm® by watering. Investigated parameters were shoot number and stem height. The results showed that addition of BAP hormone alone in growth medium resulted in significantly longer stems, but haven’t influenced on shoot number. However, number of shoots recorded on plants grown on medium containing just BAP hormone was 19, 17% higher then plants grown on medium containing both BAP and IBA hormones. Treatment with biostimulant had significant influence on a shoot number (p=0, 05). Depending on the growth media significantly higher number of shoots was recorded at the A2B2 variant compared with variant A1B2. Interactions between investigated factors significantly influenced (p=0.01) on stem height and shoot number. Significantly higher was stem length of control plants grown in medium with BAP compared to control plants grown in medium with hormones BAP and IBA (p = 0.05). The aim of this study was to determine growth and development of wild rose at two different growth mediums to preserve genotype characteristics and to shorten a multiplication time of virus-free plant material
