Sažetak
Traditional ways of working are insufficient and too rigid for a new, highly skilled and educated workforce. Therefore, organizations need to design a healthy and motivating working environment by implementing alternative ways of working. Although there are numerous possible antecedents, we examined whether educational practices and job training choices in particular stimulate application of alternative ways of working. Empirical insights are provided about the existing work design trends and current practice of job training and education on the sample of mid-sized and large-sized Croatian companies. Additionally, special emphasis is given on changes in work design practice.
