Sažetak
The paper deals with the notions about the human body and the soul in Croatian ethnographic and folklore data closely related to beliefs about nature and animals. A strong transformational potential of the human body and everything it holds within is discussed with the help of two separate examples. One is a folk song from Eastern Croatia which, among other things, describes water as a potential life-after-death domain and the other is a set of folk beliefs and notions about specific supernatural beings - werewolves
