Sažetak
The Croatian science journalists' association was established in 2000, but science journalism and before that the popularization of science has long history.The first independent science journalists' society was established in 1974. Despite of the importance of science and technology in peoples' everyday life, the quality science journalism has declined in the forts decade of the 21st century. In the future institutionalization of science journalism in Croatia, Croatian science journalists' association has an important role.
