Sažetak
The essential features of the SELGEM information management system are discussed, and it's utilization in the building and implementation of a computerized system for periodical loans in a specialized library at the "Ruđer Bošković" Institute in Zagreb is described. The software appropriateness of the resulting automated system is evaluated, and the degree to which the system satisfies the library's needs is considered.
