Sažetak
Continuing our previous work, this paper was performed to show the effect of both ascorbic acid and NaCl and theirs mixtures on tin corrosion using electrochemical methods and weight loss measurements. The influence of pH, conductivity and oxygen content in model solutions is given, as well as the number of electrons exchanged in reaction. A possible ascorbic acid/tin interaction mechanism is proposed. All experiments were carried out at room temperature.
