Sažetak
The paper focuses on multibody dynamics mathematical models that can provide elegant and numerically efficient computational framework for coupled problems in engineering and applied physics. However, for a more general use of novel geometric integration algorithms within such a framework, an efficient and accurate method of treating of kinematical constraints is needed. This issue is a central topic in the field and paper provides extensive survey of the principles of mathematical modelling and constraint stabilization algorithms from computational and differential-geometric point of view.
