Sažetak
Fifth National Communication of the Republic of Croatia, as all the previous, was prepared according to Guidelines for the Preparation of National Communications by Parties included in Annex I to the Convention (FCCC/CP/1997/7, Part II).-. Instructions prepared by the Convention Secretariat were applied as well, not having a status of the official obligation yet, but help countries to prepare their national ommunications more professionally, as required by the onvention and the Protocol. In regard to greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, this Communication covers the period from 2004-2007. Emission projections are based on conditions and projections of macroeconomic parameters from 2007. In the Republic of Croatia, the beginning of economic crisis became visible in the end of 2008.
