Sažetak
Blood samples were taken from two hens with most expressed jaundice and anemia and prepared for SEM and further processed for TEM analysis. TEM analysis proved the presence of microorganisms invading erythrocytes were they could be seen either in cytoplasm or are tied with fine filaments from outside of the cell. Found microrganisms are bigger than viruses, known bacteria or chlamidia and significantly smaller than known blood parasites of birds. The real meaning of those findings still remains an open question.
