Sažetak
Many esters of optically active quinuclidin-3- ol have been tested and recognized as pharmacological agents. In order to investigate the dependence of the horse serum butyrylcholinesterase's (BChE ; EC 3.1.1.8) activity and enantioselectivity on the ester's quaternary ammonium group, five different N- quaternary quinuclidinium valerates were prepared and kinetic studies were performed.
