Traditionally, the Conference is interdisciplinary as reflected in the range of topics: Special Session: Medical Informatics ; Computing in Business and Finance, Databases, Data Warehousing and Information Systems ; Data Mining, Statistics and Biometrics ; Human Computer Interaction ; ICT in Education ; Knowledge Management and Collaboration Systems ; Language Technologies ; Modeling, Simulation and Optimization ; Networking, Grids, Middleware and Distributed Platforms, and Theory of Computing and Computing Methodologies. This year we received 164 papers and poster abstracts written by 361 authors. Of these 361 authors, 253 have come from 42 countries: Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, P.R. China, Poland, Portugal, R. Macedonia, R. of Kosovo, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Taiwan R.O.C., Turkey, UK, USA, and 108 of them are from Croatia. The Proceedings contain 110 accepted papers: 33 from Croatia, and 77 from abroad.
