Sažetak
This report was prepared as a background paper for the World Bank report Carbon Capture and Storage in Developing Countries: A Perspective on Barriers to Deployment, 2011 (available at: http://go.worldbank.org/MJIX0TRAB0). The research was conducted by VITO, The University of Cape Town Energy Research Centre and Energy Institute Hrvoje Pozar (EIHP) on behalf of the World Bank Group. In this study, a techno-economic modelling excercise was carried out to investigate the effect of several climate policies on the power sectors of the Balkans and Southern Africa, examining in particular their effect on the deployment of carbon capture and storage technologies.
