Sažetak
The influence of nitrogen and phosphorous on algal growth potential (AGP) of the test alga Chlorella kessleri FOT at NOV. by a modified miniaturized bioassay method was studied. Models are besed on data obtained by experiments on samples from Lake Sakadaš during 1999. In order to establish the basis of the growth model the artificial intelligence (AI) method, that is the cyclic transformation of quantitative into qualitative data, has been applied. This modeling method is based on the conversion of laboratory measurement data into qualitative or rank values. Neutral growth data of algae from original water specimens was taken as the goal function. Measurement data of the treated specimens were taken as modeling variables. Models of AGP have been obtained that claim exclusive influence (either A or B) of nitrogen and phosphorous on the Chlorella kessleri growth in vitro. The determination factor is of the order 0.7225. The influence of the environmental physical parameters on the model, taken at sampling moment, is negligible.
