Sažetak
Metal-organic frameworks (MOF) and their closely related extensions of inorganic-organic hybrids (IOH) represented 1D, 2D or 3D crystalline compounds, usually porous, which simultaneously contain organic molecular building blocks and metal ions/ion clusters/inorganics. Their pores ensure especially large effective surface for adsorption and can serve as a host for storage of guest molecules like carbon dioxide of hydrogen. Their usuability is very wide and includes the application in surface plasmon polariton sensing.
