Sažetak
Solitary or multiple lipomas in dogs can occur almost anywhere in the subcutaneous tissue of the trunk, gluteal region and proximal limbs, though they rarely originate from abdominal fat deposits. In the present report, we describe a case of massive rupture of necrotic omental lipoma, and free fat release within abdominal cavity, causing a severe chronic inflammatory reaction of the peritoneum and resulting in sclerosing encapsulating peritonitis of several abdominal organs.
