Sažetak
The article deals with the current state of research on the beginning of Urnfield culture in north and central Croatia. The author presents the already published material from cemeteries and settlements of Virovitica cultural group giving in detail some new considerations on the period of transition to Urnfield culture. The basic problem of continuity and discontinuity are presented on the case of some new sites such as Velika Gorica Jug and Drljanovac. The short review of current state of chronology and scientific opinions on it is given.
