Sažetak
Leonardo de Vinci's well known drawing of man stretched in a circle is used a symbol in biomechanics as well as in ergonomics. In our investigation human body proportions were adapted to a different circle, i.e. Zederbauer's harmonical circle from the early 20th century. This circle results with a series of numbers called harmonical numbers. these numbers were applied in analysis of different natural, artistic and architectural buildings to prove their harmony. Even more, with these numbers it is possible to establish sound or colour harmony, by means of their wave lengths. In Zederbauer's circle we have used as the diameter the standing height of the man, and we applied the net of eight head length canon. After that we inserted, in a geometrical combination, characteristic points that represent human joints, and thus we were able to form a so called wire model of the human. Results in the length of different body segments are in a very good corralation to the human anthropo-measures. Moreover, we found a very good harmony in segmental masses of humans. This method could be very effective in modeling in the biomechanical analysis of the human movement.
