Sažetak
The correct choice of different variables (paper type, grammage, print, final processing and alike) on the defined model such as e.g. the production of a hardback with various suggested versions and in all mutually independent parameters can through simulations (experiments) provide a response to the market demands. Such simulations provide to the print worker monitoring of the procedure on the computer i.e. presenting the processes in the production. The simulation provides monitoring the information on the model, which is significant for the choice of the material that has to be within the determined limits. The suggested choice of the material completes the first part of the simulation, followed by the simulation of the production process. This unburdens the narrow production processes and avoids product flaws. The simulation modelling represents a wide range of activities which build models in a real system. The real situations are transferred into the simulation models which show the production conditions with various applicable variables, The results obtained through simulations need to be implemented into the real production processes. The development of digital IT equipment creates pre-conditions for its integration into the graphic industry. In the complex production process the application of the simulation justifies its existence. The change of the main factors in the production phases requires from the management to face the question of the final look of the product and its functionality. In the time when there were no computers the only possible way were experiments. Nowadays, experiments are replaced by the computer-assisted simulations that show the limit values in the production, which can avoid the unnecessary expenses in the real production. The increased number of simulations provides their automatic generators as well as the special tools for specific production phases. The application of parameters in input information offers a wide range of possible solutions, which are ensured by the models for further testing and analyses. Through the main parameters in the simulations, which are presented as random variables, different samples have been generated which are classified into the sample groups.
