Sažetak
This paper gives a description of the receding contact problem and provides a short outline of modelling considerations which characterize an attempt to study the problem using commercial software with standard solvers typically used for numerical analyses in structural mechanics, namely NX Nastran in this work. Two dimensional analysis of the problem is carried out and the results are verified by comparison with solutions reported in literature.
