Sažetak
Voluntary work is a type of socially acceptable behavior of the youth in Croatia. The youth perceive voluntary work as a segment (activity or modality) of their bright and more perspective future. In the atmosphere of such vision, the youth place their perceptions of better, understandable and more human society. Such vision leads to harmonized social relations, better relations between youth and adults and generally it presupposes more tolerant and effective relation toward all those who are disabled, poor or at any way marginalized in society or have any difficulties. The establishment of Family Center in Split-Dalmatia as the counsel helped the authors to perceive the program Fri¬end, define it as a subject of their action research and start to participate in it. They have researched how the voluntary groups were formed, their engagements, motivating behavior and the course of their contact with children who had various problems through their own individual development. In such social projection, the authors presuppose that it would be possible to eliminate or to affirm elimination of sex, ethnic and other ine¬qualities and injustices.
