Sažetak
New educational technologies bring forward the need for new aspects in the preparation and presentation of teaching matter at the university level of education. With increasing frequency the teaching matter is being demonstrated by means of the multimedia-presentation tools. For example, MS Power Point tool is being used by the vast majority of faculty for demonstration and preparation of the multimedia-presentation. This paper argues that most faculty members use the multimedia-presentation tools in such a manner as to transfer the teaching material in its entirety. Because of the use of too many multimedia-elements (text, picture, sound, video, animation) in the prevailing quantity of such presentations, the students’ attention undergoes a rapid decrease, the lecturing becomes monotonous, and the everlasting students’ dilemma arises: either to write down all the information they see in presentations, or to listen attentively to the professor’s exposition, thus trying to remember the lecture. Furthermore, the paper gives an overview of the criteria (substantial, aesthetic and functional), the presentation patterns, the graphic outline elements, and the techniques for creating more relevant reviews, according to the audience in attendance.
