Sažetak
The paper deals with strategic guidelines of reduction and internalization of external transport costs in urban areas. Within the context of sustainable development strategy the complex of technologic, operational and economic measures need to be implemented into the European transport policy. The methodology of external transport costs evaluation will be elaborated, as well as the applicative methods of their internalization with special regard to urban areas.
