Sažetak
The aim of this work is to determine whether there is a statistically important difference in the results of anthropological features of male and female the first and the second grade pupils in “dr. Jure Turic” primary school, Gospic and to define whether there is a need for individualization of work. For that purpose, 83 pupils were randomly chosen. The pupils were grouped according to gender (41 male and 42 female pupils) and according to age. Anthropological features of male and female pupils were tested with 4 morphological variables, 6 motor variables and one variable for the functional abilities evaluation. The analysis of anthropological features shows greater differences between male pupils while female pupils show statistically important difference in only one variable. The results indicate the need to teach one part of physical education in the first two primary school grades based on individualized teaching, but the care should be taken of three basic conditions for the individualization of work ; based on the current state of the subject define the aim of exercises and respect the factors of limitations.
