Sažetak
According to ICAO standards and recommended practices, around aerodromes there are obstacle limitation surfaces, imaginary surfaces established for intended aeroplane operations, landings and takeoffs to be carried out safely. Most aircraft accidents happen during approach, landing and takeoff, especially, close to the extended runway centreline. Aircraft operations, especially landing and takeoffs cause excessive noise during approach, climb and along the the runway. Obstacle limitation surfaces, possible aircraft accidents and noise and other measurements have influence on urban planning around the aerodrome and on conditions of use and area protection.
