Sažetak
Heavy metals (HM) are a natural constituent of all environmental compartments: air, water, soil. The contents of HM and the dynamics of their changes in these compartments are regulated by physical and chemical processes and phenomena. In surface soil layer concentration of HM is dependent on the mineralization of indigenous minerals, as well as on the input from atmospheric deposition which could be considered as significant. Metals in bulk precipitation are derived from both wet and dry components. In this work, bulk precipitations were collected over 24 hours, in the center of city Zagreb from January to December 2009 and analyzed for HM by differential pulse voltammetry. The ranges of metal concentrations were: 3, 75 – 25, 22 μg/L (Zn) ; 30, 3 – 467, 2 μg/L (Cd) ; 1, 39 – 6, 65 μg/L (Pb) ; 1, 65- 9, 20 μg/L (Cu) and 0, 32 – 2, 19 μg/L (Ni). The effect of the bulk samples filtration was investigated to determine concentrations of dissolved metals. The seasonal variation of HM and correlation between metal concentration and amount of precipitation have been considered, as well.
