Sažetak
Constant changes in surroundings, stimulated by social, economy, political, market and other changes, pose an imperative of raising competitiveness, not only on the level of a tourist destination, but as well as the economy subjects themselves. Faster adaptation to market changes can be attained through small and medium hospitality enterprises which need to be the carriers of changes and development of overall hospitality. One of the basic commands, which for their aim have raising the enterprises' competitiveness, is innovations in the field of tourist product, services quality and advertising actions. Management of these enterprises, as the organizational carrier, has been analysed within the context of a new surrounding, especially the demands which have been put in front of it, under the conditions of openness of the economy and competitiveness. Demand which is put in front of the management, under this aspect, is its capability of managing the changes and implementing such strategy which would enable the innovations.
