Sažetak
The presentation addressed the relation between biography and oral history in relation to historical context(s), in other words, how particular conditions seem to go into the production of a subject for its historical analysis as a point of relevance. The particular attention is given to explore two questions, namely, how to conceptualise time of narrations of those who have been subjugated and unspoken within master narratives (H. Bhabha, C. Kumar, L. Tuhiwai Smith, T. Minh-ha) and why biographical situations become much more important in historical narratives nowadays (such as works on the margins of the genre, testimonials, testimonials on trauma, biography as cultural memory etc.).
