Sažetak
The comopunds in the title, were prepared by twofold photochemical dehydrocyclization reaction by irradiation of methanolic or cyclihexane solution of 2, 5-distyrylthiophenes. Mechanism of the reaction wes detected by the degased solution of 2, 5-distyrylthiophenes were R=R'= CH3 and subsequent monitoring of 1H NMR spectra changes.Although the dinaphtho[2, 1-b:1', 2'-d]thiophene synstem is earlier synthesiszed by Castle, our product with functional groups in the 5 and 9 position can be easily converted to another derivatives with potential pharmacological features. Starting materials were synthesized earlier.
