Sažetak
In continuation of our study on the synthesis and photochemistry of heterocyclic compounds, we investigated the mechanism of the photochemical cyclizytion of 2, 5-distyryl thiophenes. E, E-2, 5-di-(2-carboxystyryl)thiophene, E, E-2, 5-di-(2-methoxycarbonylstyryl)thiophene, E-2-(2-carboxystyryl)naphtho[2, 1-b]thiophne-5-methoxy and dinaphtho[2, 1-b:1', 2'.d]thiophene-5, 9-dimethoxylate were synthesized and their 1H and 13D NMR spectra were assigned.
