Sažetak
In a women of advanced maternal age the early pregnancy risks are higher rates of: spontaneous abortions, ectopic pregnancies, chromosomal and congenital abnormalities. Pathology of pregnancies is more frequent, specifically pregnancy induced hypertension, gestational diabetes, placental problems and perinatal morbidity.Women of advanced maternal age may be cautiously optimistic regarding to perinatal risks associated with both - delayed childbearing and IVF treatment.
